The Huntington is Boston’s leading professional theatre and one of the region’s premier cultural assets since its founding in 1982. We bring together world-class theatre artists from Boston, Broadway, and beyond with the most promising new talent to create eclectic seasons of exciting new work and classics made current. The Huntington runs nationally renowned programs in education and new play development and serves the local theatre community through its operation of the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA. The Huntington now fully owns The Huntington Theatre on Huntington Avenue and is currently renovating our theatre into a first-rate, modern venue with expanded services to audiences, artists, and the community. Ed, Nidia, and Ryan—three seniors at MIT—prepare to find their places in post-college life. With all the privilege of youth, education and topnotch brainpower (and all the customary angst and anxiety as well), they weigh personal decisions about what they value, who they are, and who they want to become.
A post-show conversation will immediately follow this reading.
About the Summer Workshop: 
The Summer Workshop is a two-week new work retreat culminating in public readings of four new plays in development. The Workshop is modeled after the Sundance Theatre Lab and is an extension of the Huntington’s Playwriting Fellows program and Breaking Ground Reading Series.
This event takes place at the Roberts Studio Theatre at the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA.
