Rivas, and Gabrielle VazquezRecipient of Parsons’ Research Assistant Funding in AY 2019/20, 20/21 Collective Statement:“As a collective group of participants (artists, designers, practitioners, poets, performers, scholars, thinkers...) we aim to break down barriers that have historically existed within formal domains of theory, research, scholarship, and creative practice. Aiming to move outside hierarchical structures in our approach to this project, we seek to avoid the stereotypes of language, terminology that can narrowly define and constrain research.
