Unplug & Unwind

Unplug & Unwind is a community initiative designed to encourage individuals and families to spend one day, Saturday April 29th, without technology, in order to unwind and de-stress.Why?Children, teens, and adults alike, are all experiencing the negative side effects of our technology-driven and technology dependent society. Our interpersonal skills are diminishing, addiction to media is increasing, our children’s writing skills are suffering, and we are becoming more impatient and demanding of the world around us.

How long can you resist the urge to check your cell phone, turn on the television, or log-in to social media? Challenge yourself by disconnecting from technology for the entire day and join in on unplugged activities and specials that encourage you to explore new hobbies, set new goals, spend uninterrupted time with loved ones, and simply unwind.
 
Meet up with the group at any point in the day, to partake in the free activities and utilize the great discounts!
