Purpose and aims of the event

  • To bring together a community of people working in data science for older people at University of Leeds and beyond
  • To share knowledge of new methods, and how to access basic training to newcomers to the field
  • To develop a network and community of people working in this space
  • To discuss and share ideas on how to develop University of Leeds as a centre of excellence in data science for older people: including for example: future training courses/ annual conferences/ training pathways
  • To enable new collaborations to develop for funding bids
