Overview

Defining independence entails mentors developing important skills to foster mentee independence.

Designed for CURRENT FACULTY engaged in biomedical research or other STEM-related fields. Mentoring aims to help mentees to achieve independence and prepares them for success in the next phase of their career. Join the discussion and activities to foster your mentee inbecoming an independent researcher/scientist. It is strongly recommended that attendees complete a full 6-hour Mentor Training workshop or equivalent before participating (visit the GCC webpage for more information). Facilitators: Fred Pereira, PhD, BCM, and Vicki Alger, MA, Training Administrator/Evaluator, GCC. ONLINE. Thursday, May 7, 12:00-1:30pm.
