The focus of the event is on exploring how transition plans can unlock finance and growth with insights from two panels of senior leaders from finance and real economy companies.

Speakers include:

Panel 1 leads on the topic of the link between transition plans and transition finance, asking, how can transition plans unlock capital and support growth? The panel includes Vanessa Havard Williams, Chair, Transition Finance Market Review; Helen Dean CBE, CEO, NEST; Jonas Persson, Managing Director, Sustainability & ESG Finance, Lloyds Banking Group; and Alistair Strathern MP Mid-Befordshire.

Panel 2 compares insights on why publish a transition plan looking through a corporate strategy lens with Alistair Phillips-Davies, CEO, SSE; Robin Mills, CEO, Compass UK & Ireland; and Jon Stanton, Weir Group CEO.

Both panels will be moderated by Emiliya Mychasuk, Climate Editor, Financial Times.

To be welcomed by Keith Bottomley, Deputy Chairman of the Policy and Resources Committee, City of London Corporation, the event is hosted by TPT Co-Heads Dr Ben Caldecott and Kate Levick.
