Learning Summary: This session helps educators explore playful ways to support spatial thinking. Participants will learn key components such as position and direction and discuss how children develop these skills. Practical strategies will be shared to integrate spatial thinking into everyday learning and strengthen early math understanding.
Learning Outcomes:
•Learners will define Spatial Thinking.
•Learners will identify Key Components of Spatial Thinking.
•Learners will describe how children develop spatial thinking skills through play and exploration
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience.
