Please join us on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 in the University’s Newcomb Hall Ballroom to connect with over 50 Local and Small, Woman-, and Minority-owned (SWaM) businesses.
This event will provide University purchasers with the opportunity to discover new businesses, to connect in person with their favorite local and SWaM companies, and to learn more about the University’s Supplier Diversity initiative.

SWaM businesses are Small, Woman-, or Minority-owned businesses certified by the Commonwealth of Virginia's Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity. To see if your business is currently SWaM certified, please visit https://directory.sbsd.virginia.gov/#/executiveExport.
Parking is available at the Central Grounds Garage and is conveniently located under the University Bookstore at 400 Emmet Street near Newcomb Hall. Parking is provided for suppliers exhibiting at the event, and there is an hourly rate based on garage availability for University attendees.
The University is committed to supporting businesses in the community where we work and live. A local business is headquartered in Albemarle, Charlottesville, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, or Nelson counties in Virginia. For more information, please email supplierdiversity@virginia.edu.
Thanks to our event sponsors' generous support, Local and/or SWaM-certified businesses may register for the Expo for only $125. This fee includes a 6' covered table, 2 chairs, and 2 box lunches for each registered supplier.
