University of Nothern Iowa SUSA Zombie Run

The University of Northern Iowa Supporters of the United States Army (UNISUSA) is hosting a 5KM "Zombie Run". The run will help support UNISUSA in their efforts to support the University of Northern Iowa ROTC cadets, by providing them with funds to compete in things like range challenge, the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge, and field training exercises. The run is a fun course through the University of Northern Iowa campus where participants will encounter zombies who will chase them down. Each participant will begin the race with two balloons, the zombies will be attempting to pop your balloons... WILL YOU SURVIVE?

For those not looking to run or walk the 5k there is still a chance to get involved as a volunteer. A zombie costume contest will be held after the 5k for the best looking zombie! Come dressed looking as goolish as possible for the chance to win great prizes!

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

There are no ID requirements.

There is not an age requirement to take part in the Zombie 5k, however, we do recomend leaving very young children at home as some of the props, costumes, and obsticals may frighten them.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

The closest parking will be available in A parking by West Gym. This is located off of Hudson and 23d street across from the Dome.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Please do not bring any alchololic beverages as this is meant to be a family friendly event. Also, there is no smoking on campus grounds.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Please bring either a printed ticket or an electronic copy of your ticket. Cell phone recipts will be excepted.

What is the refund policy?

There are no refunds.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

Yes, there will be no ID requirements. Please see above.
