University of Edinburgh San Francisco Summer Gathering

You are invited to join us this August for a summer gathering in San Francisco. This event is open to new students, current students, alumni, and their families, and will be hosted by the University’s North American Office.

The aim of this gathering is to welcome new students and their families to the University, to celebrate the experience of our returning students and alumni, and to bring together the Edinburgh community in North America. Light refreshments will also be provided.

If you wish to attend an event organised by Edinburgh Global but do not wish to use Eventbrite, please email Mary Kate Sherwood at marykate.sherwood@ed.ac.uk.

If you have given us your permission to do so, we will share your name, affiliation and contact details with the other participants in the delegate list.

Data sharing

We will not share information about you with any other third party.

Data retention

We will hold the personal data you provided us for 12 months (if you are not already part of the University community). If you have agreed to be contacted about future events, we will hold your personal data for as long as you subscribe to these updates.

We do not use profiling or automated decision-making processes.

Access to your information

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of this information, please contact us. You may also ask us to correct or remove any inaccurate information.
