On Monday 8th June, the University of Aberdeen will host an evening workshop on language research skills at the British Centre, China Life Tower, Beijing.
The event is specially designed for those wishing to further their studies in the UK and will be of specific interest in those considering Master’s level study and the PhD.
This is a superb opportunity to meet the University of Aberdeen team, led by Professor Barbara Fennell-Clark: Dr Sergey Tyulenev, Dr Moray Watson, Dr Tania Fahey-Palma and Ms. Gao Ye.
The workshop programme is as follows:
19:00-19:15 – Welcome and Introduction
19:15-20:00 – The Scope of Language Research
20:00-20:45 – Qualitative vs. Quantitative vs. Mixed Methods Analysis
20:45-21:30 – Master’s and PhD Projects in Language and Linguistics
Attendees will receive a certificate of participation.
