<H2>What is it?</H2>
Have you ever wanted to increase the impact and reach of your products?  Then you need to consider incorporating universal design.
This symposium will address the benefits and rationale for inclusive design that enables people of all abilities to access and utilize technology.  Building off a workshop held earlier this year, WITH Foundation and Sidebench will host a day of engagement and best practices around current universal design thinking. 
We will also share information on our latest project, “Beta Day”, that brings designers and developers together with individuals with developmental disabilities to provide real-time feedback on their latest technologies and prototypes.
This project was recently selected to be at SXSW 2019! We'll be on stage next year talking about our findings and learnings from this day, as well as the specifics of this event. So attendees will get to be a piece of that history!
We'll be providing coffee/tea and pastries in the morning, and lunch in the afternoon. Feel free to bring your laptops or notebooks to take notes.

Jutta Treviranus – Director and Professor at Inclusive Design Research Centre, OCAD University
