University of New Haven Assistant Women's Basketball Coach Kamiko Williams

The second annual Unity Run, Powdered Paint Block Party, hosted by the University of New Haven Department of Athletics in partnership with WestFest will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017. 
The 5K Unity Run/Walk will begin and end at Maxcy Hall. Participants will then receive free transportation to WestFest at the West Haven Green for the Powdered Paint Block Party. The block party also includes inflatables, live music, food trucks, games and more.  
Regardless of race, religion, sexual preference or any other differences, the run/walk will bring together everyone in one group while holding on to our personal beliefs. The objective of the run is to promote Unity among the people in the greater West Haven community. In an attempt to build Unity, the goal is to spread happiness through love and respect.
Schedule of Events: 9:00 AM: Registration/Check-in (Maxcy Hall) 10:00 AM: Unity Run/Walk 11:00 AM: WestFest & Powdered Paint Block Party (transportation from Maxcy Hall provided) 
Cost of the Unity Run is $15 for University of New Haven students and $20 for non-students. Kids under 10 are free. Registration includes a t-shirt. Extra t-shirts can be purchased for $10.
