United Way impacts the entire circle of life: education, basic needs, and health. In Gordon County, we support 18 local agencies.

The Unity Run 5K has historically heralded the start of our annual campaign efforts for the past 27 years. This year, the race will signify the wrap-up of our fundraising efforts for our local Community Partners. With COVID-19 affecting how we plan our day-to-day, we have decided to hold the 27th race virtually this year, which will take place November 23 - December 7, 2020. A virtual race is a lot like a traditional 5K. You can run/jog/walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, or at the gym. You can run your own race, at your own pace and when it is convenient for you! Please note that we are not timing or submitting race times this year – it will be more of a fun-run instead of a competitive race. The following categories will be awarded:<ul><li>Farthest participant from Gordon County</li><li>Most Unique Race Route</li><li>Most Creative Outfit While Running</li></ul>Use the hashtag #UnityRun2020 to be submitted for an award!** To qualify for awards you have to be registered for the race ** *You must register before November 2nd to receive a t-shirt. The t-shirts will be mailed to you personally the week before the race! *
