Event description

Description

Join Paul Henry Hawkins of Working Diversity, Inc. to learn how you can help nurture a culture of diversity and inclusion in our community!

Many of us in Mount Lebanon have a constructive vision for our future. We envision Mount Lebanon as an equitable community, a site of human geography where social justice is talked--and walked. How will we get there? By strategically planning our way forward! Building on a series of recent public conversations, this January we will kickoff our community strategic planning process with a four-hour workshop. We will learn the strategic planning nuts and bolts needed to ensure our success, and start to map out the work we will be doing in 2018 and beyond. Any Mount Lebanon resident is welcome to attend.

Facilitator: Paul Henry Hawkins, PhD, PMP, PMI-PBA is Board Chair of Working Diversity, Inc., a nonprofit that specializes in supporting emerging diversity and inclusion change agents. Paul has more than 25 years experience helping people and organizations develop their core competencies with social justice and human rights issues. A native of Pittsburgh, Paul now lives in Washington, DC, where, in pursuit of forthcoming scholarly works, he haunts the Library of Congress.
