Unity Dinners are in-person events that facilitate group discussions surrounding recovery, harm reduction, and the experiences of people who have been impacted by substance use.The primary goal of Unity Dinners is to foster dialogue and understanding among groups that may not typically interact, including faith leaders, community wellness programs, recovery organizations, harm reduction advocates, treatment providers, and individuals in recovery.
Throughout the dinner we will:
– Spearhead conversations to dismantle stigma related to addiction and recovery
– Identify intersections between different groups to foster stronger connections
– Gain commitment to continue the initial work
