This iconic Los Angeles landmark is now a vibrant symbol of downtown’s renaissance. Dramatically reimagined as a dynamic destination for the arts, entertainment and culture, forging a vital new connection to the community, Union Station is now more than a bustling transportation hub in the heart of the city. It's a true cultural hub connecting the infinitely varied and wonderful elements of one of the world’s great cities... a gateway to the best of Los Angeles.

As part of Union Station’s free summer public programs, from July 15 - 24 the station’s South Patio will be transformed into an evocative multi-media environment with the innovative experience Union Station 360°. The attraction was created by the award winning local experiential design firm The Hettema Group, responsible for some of the world’s most recognized interactive attractions ranging from the recently opened One World Observatory at the World Trade Center to Las Vegas’ High Roller to Universal Studios Islands of Adventure to Jurassic Park The Ride.
Union Station’s state-of-the-art, multi-sensory 360° experience will transport guests on an extraordinary interactive journey through the unique cultural fabric of L.A. with a series of imaginative vignettes exploring the city’s storied past and vibrant present.  The Hettema Group teamed with filmmakers and digital artists to create original cinemagraphs that will be viewed, on a massive cutting-edge projection sphere and across a Floating Sky Screen, accompanied by a hypnotic original score. 
The station’s massive entry arches will become the backdrop to a 30-foot-high, projection mapped art and video installation that will respond to visitors’ movements; and guests can move freely throughout the garden beneath the translucent Floating Sky Screen bathed in iconic Los Angeles imagery.
Union Station will be transformed into a towering canvas for dazzling imagery beamed on its façade as audiences become fully immersed in the Union Station 360° experience.
Free limited time engagement from July 15 - July 24.* Continuous shows every half hour from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m.

PARKING
Parking available under the Metro Headquarters Bldg. at Union Station East Garage is open 24 hours, seven days a week. $2.00 every 15 min. $8.00 maximum.
Located on the east side of Union Station. Enter off either Cesar Chavez, just to the east of the under pass or off Vigness in the middle of the block between Cesar Chavez and the 101 Freeway. Look for public parking signs.
