Current applications of blockchain technology in the financial services industry - Blockchain technology has recently reached a high level of market maturity. Progressive regulation is also providing more and more legal certainty for the implementation of new products and services in this area. The financial services industry in particular sees significant potential in the areas of digital assets and digital money. The tokenization of assets opens up completely new forms of investment that were not feasible in the past. Digital money, on the other hand, represents electronic payment methods in a purely digital form that challenge conventional payment systems and ultimately lead to a transformation of payment services.
