Join Virginia Union University for the unveiling reception of Unfinished Declaration, a commemorative work honoring America’s 250th anniversary. Created by conceptual artist Haywood Watkins III, the piece draws inspiration from Frederick Douglass’ What To The Slave Is The Fourth Of July? The reception will feature a reading of Douglass’ iconic speech by award-winning actor Ruffin Prentiss.
