Healing traditionally implies fixing something that is broken, but the philosophy of this training explores healing as an ongoing process of growth and support. Our brains and bodies have an innate capacity to heal themselves which is amplified when we are in safe relationships with others. Over the next 6 weeks, we’ll be exploring how trauma affects the brain and body, and learning effective interventions for developing resilience within the people we serve and ourselves.

Nothing has the power to heal like supportive relationships. Sarah Buffie helps organizations and service providers, educators and families disrupt current models of thinking by building empathy and connection through the power of community and storytelling.
