INCOSE is an international professional organization dedicated to advancing the practice of Systems Engineering. The Chesapeake Chapter of INCOSE serves the systems engineering community in the Northern and Central Maryland, and Southern Pennsylvania area.

Webcast Link will be sent to Registrants [ An online chat questions-and-answers session will also be available.]</p><h1>Understanding the INCOSE Certification Process</h1><h2>Dr. Steven Biemer</h2><p><strong>Abstract</strong>: This two-hour webinar will describe the INCOSE CEP certification process, including initial certification and renewal. The following interrogative questions will be answered:</p><ul><li>What is CEP certification?</li><li>Why get Certified?</li><li>How does one get certification?</li><li>When and where?</li></ul><p>The agenda will include three topics:</p><ol><li>CEP Certification process (answering the above questions)</li><li>Keeping and renewing certification (including Professional Development Units)</li><li>Using the INCOSE SE Model available to all Members</li></ol><p><strong>Instructor</strong>: Dr. Biemer is the 2023 President of the INCOSE Chesapeake Chapter and has over 37 years of experience in applying systems engineering principles and methods to the defense and aerospace industry, cyber operations, homeland security, and healthcare technology. He is the co-author of Systems Engineering Principles and Practice 3rd Edition.
