About this event

  • 1 hour

The Colorado POWR act training is an overview of the new Colorado regulation that went into effect on August 7, 2023. The Protecting Opportunities and Workers' Rights Act drastically changes the landscape of Colorado's Anti-Discrimination Act and broadens the protections for employees.

The training will focus on how the law discards the "severe or pervasive" standard for harassment, limits affirmative defenses, new conditions an employer must meet for non-disclosure agreements, and new record keeping requirements. The training focuses on the understanding of the new regulations and how employers need to respond or take action to comply with the POWR act.
