About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Join us for an informative session focused on caregiver burnout, what it is, how it happens, and how to manage it. We'll start by defining who caregivers are and explore how common burnout is among those providing ongoing care for others. You'll learn to recognize the signs and symptoms, understand the causes and risk factors, and explore the long-term impact burnout can have on mental and physical health.

The session will also cover effective management strategies, including treatment options, self-care tools, and the benefits of respite care. We'll discuss how to prevent burnout before it begins and what the recovery process looks like. Finally, we'll offer guidance on how to talk to healthcare providers and get the support you need.

Whether you're a caregiver yourself or support someone who is, this workshop will provide helpful insights and practical tools to care for others, without forgetting to care for yourself.
