Through her company, Jones Animal Behavior, Katenna Jones provides behavior consultingservices to cat and dog owners,guidanceto local rescues, and educational events to pet lovers as well as professionals.She is an instructor and mentor for the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, a regular speaker at local events, prevents a wide variety of online courses, and presents nationally and internationally. Katenna is the author ofFetching the Perfect Dog Trainer: Getting the Best for You and Your Dogand regularly contributes to publications such as Martha Stewart Living, Chewy.com,Dogster, and more. Katenna earned her Master’s in Experimental Psychology from Brown University where she studied animal behavior, learning and cognition. She is an Associate Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist, Certified Cat and Dog Behavior Consultant, Certified Pet Dog Trainer, and Certified Fear Free Trainer. Katenna shares her Rhode Island home with her husband, adopted cat and dog, chickens, and honeybees.

Communication is key to any great relationship and our pets are no exception. To have solid, strong, and stable bonds with any species, understanding what each other wants or needs or is feeling is essential. In this seminar, prepare to gain a better understanding of canine body language, social cues, sensory abilities, and more. Some many learn a little, others may discover a lot, but everyone will walk away with a better understanding of dogs.

What's the refund policy?
Refund requests received at least 5 days prior to event may be refunded in full. Requests received between up to 48hrs prior to event may be refunded at 50%. No shows and requests received within 48 hrs of event will not be elidgable for refund. Credit for missed events may not be applied toward future events. Transfer of registration to another party may occur at the discretion of registrant, with written notification to event host. In case of cancellation due to weather, attendees will be notified via email of rescheduled time and date. If unable to attend the rescheduled event for any reason, refund requests must be received within 48 hours of cancellation notice. Refund requests received after 48hrs from cancellation notice may not be refunded.
Can I bring my pet to the seminar?
No pets unless specifically indicated.
