Understanding Code - Cycle 4

We are delighted to announce that Understanding Code will be running again starting on September 21st. There are 3 sessions scheduled. The first session will cover HTML so we can start to design pages, the second will cover CSS so we can start styling our pages and the last session will cover Javascript so we can change our page on the fly.

Session Dates
Mon 21st Sept 6.00-7.30pm - Introduction to HTML
Mon 28th Sept 6.00-7.30pm - CSS and Styling
Mon 5th Oct 6.00-7.30pm - Javascript and Dynamic Content

We will also be running the Python course again afterwards but the dates for this are to be announced.

Who is welcome?
Anyone is welcome. The course doesn't assume any knowledge about programming at all. We will be using a program called Brackets. The course does however assume that you can use a computer but no expertise are required. If the phrase 'move the window to reveal the folder underneath then open the folder' doesn't sound like an alien language to you then you will be fine.

What to bring?

You will need to bring a laptop with you, power sockets and wifi provided (courtesy of Campus North)

Age Restrictions
We ask that anyone under 16 is accompanied by an adult. ]

Location
All 3 events will take place Campus North who are very kindly letting us use the facilities and providing some free beer, wine, cider and soft drinks for all attendees.
