Understanding Autism
A free event where experienced speakers and valuable resources come together to inform, support, and empower our community.
Join us for Understanding Autism, a free, community-centered event designed to educate, empower, and connect families, caregivers, educators, and advocates. Hosted by Crystal Jones, founder of Made4Love, this engaging event will create a welcoming space where attendees can gain a deeper understanding of autism and access meaningful support.
Crystal Jones will lead the conversation as both host and speaker, sharing her passion, lived experience, and commitment to building inclusive communities. She will be joined by four additional knowledgeable speakers who bring both professional expertise and real-world insight: April Bjorkden, founder of Mighty Minds; Deanna Hunt, founder of ILP; Erica D. Cravens, Clinical Supervisor specializing in behavior analysis; and Tiera Moultrie, founder of Autism in the D. Together, they will provide valuable perspectives on autism awareness, early intervention, advocacy, and support strategies for families.
Throughout the event, attendees will have access to free resources, including educational materials, local service information, and tools to better support individuals on the autism spectrum. Whether you are newly navigating a diagnosis or looking to expand your knowledge, this event offers something for everyone.
Families are warmly encouraged to attend together, and children are welcome. This is a safe, inclusive environment where community connection and learning go hand in hand. Come be part of a powerful experience that uplifts, informs, and celebrates neurodiversity.
