About this event

Take an inspiring trip back in time to the year 1821, as you travel in this walking drama with historic characters who welcome you as a freedom seeker. Learn about escaping the realities of slavery and Spring Hill Farm’s role in the Underground Railroad. Timed performances of the award-winning immersive play "One Stop on the Road to Freedom" will entertain and educate attendees on Spring Hill's history as a station on the Underground Railroad.

*Note: All performances except the 12:45 showtime are immersive walking performances through Spring Hill grounds. Anyone with mobility concerns should consider the seated show.

Ticket price is inclusive of the following attractions throughout the day:

  • Tours of the 1821 farmhouse
  • Live music at the Granary Barn provided by Members of the Canton Folk Song Society
  • On the Run interactive adventure
  • Kids' scavenger hunt
