Have you heard the words blockchain and cryptocurrency a lot lately? Have you considered investing in bitcoin or lamented that you haven't without really knowing what bitcoin is? You're not alone. 
Come join us for an introduction to blockchain technology. We'll talk about what it is, how it works, and current projects in the marketplace. Our goal is to keep the night informative, open, and interactive and to learn from each other!

<SPAN STYLE="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap; font-size: medium; color: #333333;">Eugene Leventhal is the Founder and CEO of <A HREF="https://www.edudao.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">eduDAO</A>, working on building a blockchain-based crowdfunding and community building platform and the founder of the <A HREF="https://heinz.campusgroups.com/madtech/about/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">MAD_tech club</A> (Managing and Applying Disruptive Technologies) at CMU's Heinz College. He also serves on the Board of Advisors of Transfernation.
