Austin’s best genre-crossing music mashup showcase is back. On Thursday, October 30th Un Día returns with another stacked lineup highlighting the diversity of Austin’s music scene — this time at the iconic C-Boy’s Heart & Soul. It's a spot that fits the Un Día mission of celebrating Austin's wealth of talent-both new and long-beloved. The evening also includes face painting, a raffle, and community-building vibes, all while raising money for Pawliska Rescue.
This year's line up is a mix of established artists like legendary Austin MC Tee Double, eastern soul chanteuse Nagavalli and Austin Music Award's best guitarist Eve Monsees. Up and comers like gritty powerhouse rapper Evita, community-minded hip hop artist Traygod tha MC and the "indie rock lullabies" of Elijah Delgado will keep music fans on their toes. The lineup also includes KUTX favorites like "hot and hypnotic"(glamglare) neo soul artist Lew Apollo, rhymeslinger JSoulja (who was profiled by KUTX), "expressive soul-rock singer" (Austin Chronicle) Chief Cleopatra and Austin Monthly "Band To Watch" / mighty soul virtuoso Tomar Williams of Tomar and the FCs and more.
