Al Alagarsamyhas been involved with iron foundries for more than 40 years and has worked with three major foundry groups. Previously, he served as a Research Committee Chairman for the American Foundry Society and Ductile Iron Society. He was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Ductile Iron Society for his contributions to the Ductile Iron community.

(NDT) Non-Destructive Evaluation of Casting Quality
This method of testing is used in several industries for quality verification and maintenance of existing structures, such as pipe lines and tanks. In ductile iron industry, it is used for flaw detection and verifying nodularity. There are many questions as stated below by foundry operators. This seminar will focus on explaining the basic concepts and equipment used and practical guide to successful operation of the test.
