Ukulele for Adult Beginners

Born in Brunei and raised in Taiwan and Okinawa, Anne embraced music at a young age, traversing various instruments until she discovered the ukulele on Maui. She co-founded the Monument Concert Series in Utrecht, Netherlands while pursuing her music degree in composition and piano teaching diploma.

Anne Ku

Known as the friendly or social instrument, the ukulele is not only easy to learn but fun to play in a group. This seven-week course gives you a solid foundation from which you can choose to continue to the next level or teach yourself. You will learn how to hold and tune it properly, read chord diagrams and song sheets, correctly finger the chords and play the strum patterns used in the most popular songs. You may borrow a ukulele and clip-on tuner on the first day, and get tips on how to affordably acquire your own for the rest of the course.
 Total fee is $250 for seven sessions. $30 discount of total fee if you have already taken Anne's 1.5 hour "Crash Course for Complete Beginners." Please register to get contacted on payment method. Includes tea and snacks. Every Saturday except 19th Jan (MLK Weekend). ADDENDUM: It is possible to drop-in and continue not from the very beginning - click on the second fee type (drop-in) to get an e-mail response.
