About this event

  • 2 hours 30 minutes

Students will learn to make Ukrainian-style decorated eggs, using layers of wax, colored dye, and hollow chicken eggs. This class will focus on learning the 40 triangles division that is the base for many traditional designs. The class is suitable for complete beginners, and would also be good for returning pysanky students who want to build on their skills.

Students will take home two hollow dyed eggs (sprayed with clear acrylic gloss if weather permits) and one kistka (wax "writing" tool)

G rade 9-Adult (Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult)

* Please wear clothes you are comfortable with getting dye on!*
