About The Presenters: Gary Johnson, Employer / Agent Liaison Gary has over 24 years of experience in the complex discipline of Unemployment Insurance; seven years of which working as a Tax Auditor and the past seventeen-plus years in the areas of communication, education and electronic commerce as a Project Coordinator and Employer/Agent Liaison with the Unemployment Insurance Program at the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development. Gary also coordinates the Minnesota Business Tax Education Partnership.

Wayne Johnson, Benefit Program Specialist — Wayne has a degree in Secondary Education, but discovered early on that he likes teenagers in smaller doses. He has been with the Unemployment Insurance Program since 1980 and now works mostly as a quality auditor and writer. Each year he reviews 400 adjudicator decisions and 80 appeal hearings and decisions issued by unemployment law judges, to ensure that Minnesota is meeting federal standards for sufficiency of fact finding and proper application of the Minnesota UI Law.
