This presentation, led UCF’s Vice President for Information Technology and CIO (Matthew Hall) and Director of the UCF Center for Ethics and Associate Professor of Ethics and Digital Culture (Jonathan Beever, Ph.D.), will talk through ethical implications of AI in the context of information security. From privacy and property harms to transparency and explicability to resource allocation to public/private tensions, ethical issues of information security ay be exacerbated by the implementation of neural network driven AI applications.
