About this event

  • 1 hour

Tired of the Harold? Seen a million Spokanes? At The Assignment, expert improvisers are challenged to perform insane improv forms invented by hosts Bill DiPiero and Paris Adkins. Maybe it’ll be a Reverse Slacker, or a Purgatory LaRonde, or the Human Donkey (what’s that? we don’t know... yet). Come back each month to see their latest creation.

Paris and Bill use their knowledge of esoteric improv lore to short-circuit these improvisers' brains for your amusement. There will be a short presentation on the form, and then 3 teams of improvisers strive to hit the high bar set for them. And when they do? They understood…The Assignment.

Hosted by: Paris Adkins and Bill DiPiero

Featuring queer improvisers: Steven Poletta, Ray Cordova, Philip Markle, Michael Hartney, Maritza Montanez, Lili Pujol, Kalynn Chambers, John X Miller, Jaydan Heather, Jake Cornell, Glo Tavarez, and Erin Davis

And allies: Zack Willis, Sarah Grace Welbourn, Brady O’Callahan, and Aaron LaRoche
