Looking for some music that will catapult you into your week, uplift your spirits with dreamy undertones, submerge your senses in the subtle melodic excursions of the unknown?YOUR SEARCH IS OVER. Swing by Rudy’s Jazz Room for a first-rate program presented by up-and-coming upright bass talent, Jacob Jezioro. The band hopes you’ll take part in this evening of &quot;capital-G Great music&quot; (Music City Review).Nashville-bred unicorn, Jezioro, procured his careful education in traditional jazz styles (with a western classical foundation) through his undergraduate work at Indiana University. Later, from 2018-19, he expanded his musical awareness through a formal mentorship program at Berklee. Jezioro&#x27;s stint in the Northeast granted him close contact with respected elders of the [now global] art form we call &quot;jazz&quot;. At Berklee, Jezioro&#x27;s mentors included John Patitucci, Danilo Perez, Joe Lovano, Terri Lyne Carrington, Ben Street and others. Prior to his collegiate study, Jezioro grew up in a musical household in Nashville.From the crib to the stage, Jacob maintains his passion for art and continues to develop his craft as a young enthusiast and professional bassist. His new sextet filters &quot;Ubuntu Motifs&quot; through more open, freer forms of group improvisation, fearlessly negotiating the anonymous musical histories of each selection. The band will consist of Matt Endahl on piano, David Williford on alto saxophone and clarinets, Chester Thompson on drum set, Joel Frahm on tenor saxophone, and Tim Kreis on soprano and clarinet. They will perform a variety of hot and cold selections, original and specially curated from the contemporary jazz canon. This will undoubtedly result in an exciting Rudy&#x27;s debut.

This show is 21 and over only. All sales are final and we unfortunately cannot offer any refunds. Additional tickets may be available at the door on the day of the show even if it is sold out online.Please try to arrive 15 minutes prior to the show start time. If you do not arrive within 45 minutes after the show start time on your ticket your seat may be resold to other patrons at the door. If you arrive after 45 minutes from the start time of the show and your ticket has been resold, although we cannot guarantee it, we will try our best to make space for you to attend the show.
