About this event

  • 1 day 7 hours

While the HOTMA Final Rule’s effective date remains January 1, 2024, HUD recognizes that HOTMA includes significant program and system changes. Multifamily programs will have to implement these changes in stages, giving you, the owners/agents, more time to learn, apply and execute the new HOTMA rules and discretionary policies.

How Can DeSilva Housing Group Help You Prepare?

The final deadline for implementation is December 31, 2024, which will allow owners time in 2024 to be appropriately trained for how HOTMA impacts your property and residents. Our detailed written HOTMA training materials have been revamped and updated to include up-to-date HUD clarifications and new guidance to guide you through the multifamily implementation process and help you develop a timeline to achieve compliance by the final deadline. Come experience the engaging live training sessions Jenny is so well known for. Knowledge is power. If you have to learn it, you might as well NOT be bored in the process!

You may be asking yourself, “I already sat through a HOTMA training; do I have to register for one in 2024?” The additional HUD guidance released since the original HOTMA Final Rule is extensive and, in some areas, sweeping. We strongly suggest participating in this additional training that includes new updates and up-to-the-minute clarifications released by HUD.

Attendees of former trainings had the following reviews:

“Jenny delivers the information in a simplified manner. She is also very humorous which makes for a comfortable learning environment.”

“Jenny is by far the best in the business! She breaks everything down so well that even the least experienced leave, feeling empowered! I feel like David and HOTMA is Goliath … but Jenny is my slingshot! I, personally, feel ready to tackle HOTMA because I have DeSilva Housing Group in my corner!”

The HOTMA train is leaving the station. Don't be left behind.

Please note, by registering, you grant DeSilva Housing Group authorization to share your information with our exclusive training sponsor, Yardi.
