Notes for Education Northshore host the second “Twilight Symphony,” an outdoor concert by candlelight.

Be prepared to witness a soul-soothing concert by candlelight: Twilight Symphony. It is no secret that Candlelight concerts are famous for providing you with live music and a multi-sensory musical experience. With the idea originating during the pandemic and having already reached audiences in more than 80 cities around the world, it is the founders of Notes for Education Northshore's mission to bring it to Slidell, Louisiana.

Enjoy a wide variety of themes and genres: classical, jazz, pop, movie soundtracks, ballet, among others. Candlelight will be provided through countless flameless candles. The Pan String Quartet will present a collection of their great musical creations over the course of 120 mesmerizing minutes. You will hear a mix of classical and pop, from Bach to Beatles, the Vivaldi summer concerto paired with some classic movie hits. The entrance to the venue will open 60 minutes early for your enjoyment of food and cocktails before the show. Tickets are available through Eventbrite.com for $75 per ticket with tables available for purchase. Ticket purchase includes dinner and cash bar during the cocktail hour beginning at 7:00pm.

INSTRUMENT DRIVE

Give the gift of music Notes for Education Northshore Fund is currently seeking unwanted or gently used instruments. Donating that band or orchestra instrument you no longer use can make a profound difference in a child’s life. Notes for Education Northshore makes it easy to donate your used musical instruments to school music programs in need. We host a platform that makes it a snap to part with your sentimental pieces. Whether it’s a clarinet, a tuba or a set of drums that you donate, students will put it to good use–and the music will go on. If you have an instrument, please bring it to one of our donation locations so another child can receive the gift of music. Be instrumental in supporting quality music and art education in schools!
