Objetivo
El objetivo del taller es acercar a las mujeres al mundo de Ruby on Rails. Los hombres también son bienvenidos: por favor, encuentren a una mujer que quiera aprender Ruby y Rails, ella podrá registrarse y traerlos como invitados. Cuando se registren se les preguntará quién viene como su invitado, por favor asegúrense de contestar esta pregunta.
Evento
Novatas en programación (es decir, nunca programaron antes), administradores de sistemas, desarrolladores en otros lenguajes, tendremos grupos diferentes separados por nivel de experiencia. Cada participante necesita traer su propia laptop para trabajar.
¡Es gratis! En este taller te llevaremos a construir una aplicación web completa usando Ruby on Rails. Al terminar el taller tendrás una aplicación en internet que se conecta a una base de datos, que lee y escribe información. Nos reuniremos el día del Installfest para instalar todo el software que necesitas y después pasaremos el día del taller aprendiendo y escribiendo código. Debes asistir al Installfest el viernes así podemos tener todo funcionando en nuestro proyecto para el sábado.

Para poder atender a todos tendremos la participación de instructores colaboradores de : Tech Women Community, Rails Bridge Colima y Ruby Gdl Programmers
IMPORTANTE
Cuando reserves se te pedirá que respondas algunas preguntas sobre el sistema operativo de tu laptop, nivel y tipo de experiencia programando y si traerás niños (te aparecerá un modal para ir respondiendo las preguntas). Habrá botanas el viernes por la tarde y comida el sábado.
Si reservas un lugar y después te das cuenta que no puedes asistir, te pedimos que canceles tu reservación para que así, las personas que se encuentren en la lista de espera puedan ocupar tu lugar. ¡Gracias!
