Description
This class will teach you the basics of bowl turning using traditional tools. You will learn different methods of safely mounting the stock to the lathe using faceplates, 4 - jaw chucks, jam chucks and Wormwood screws. You will learn techniques such as riding the bevel, shear scraping and parting the bowl from the tenon. You will have the opportunity to use bowl gouges, detail gouges, scrapers and parting tools.
