Turn a Platter

In this class students will turn a beautiful hardwood platter. Students will learn about faceplate turning, chucks and tenons, along with a multitude of turning accessories. After the desired shape of the plate is achieved, the project will be sanded smooth and a finish will be applied. All materials will be provided. This will make a great addition to your kitchen or a great gift for family or friends. Note: Students must have attended either a traditional turning class or a carbide tool class to attend this advanced turning workshop.
