Turfgrass Workshop

UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County

Spring has arrived and turfgrass management is in full swing.  Come and join UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Environmental &amp; Community Horticulture Agent, Dr. Taylor Clem, to learn about the best management practices for managing turfgrass around our homes.
Through classroom and fieldwork activities, we will demystify turfgrass management to make sure that we are conserving water, fertilizing appropriately and managing pests responsibly.  This class will begin at the UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office (2800 NE 39 Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32609) and then will proceed to Fred Cone Park (2801 E University Avenue, Gainesville).
Registration fee is $25.00 (includes course material, supplies, refreshments &amp; lunch). Please pre-register by April 8th. There will be no refunds for the registration fee.
