Tunney F. Lee Memorial Lecture Series - Narratives of Women of Color in Greater Boston

Join us for CHSNE's latest in-person event in the Bright Family Screening Room at the Emerson Paramount Center featuring a collaborative music project that showcases new music inspired by the lives of Greater Boston's women of color, as found in archival materials within local African American communities and CHSNE's Chinese-American Women Oral History Project . The event not only reflects on the history of different communities but also aims to draw connections across communities through narratives and music. As part of this lecture series, the composers' presentation and performances will be followed by an interactive panel discussion. This event is the first of three in Boston showcasing the project's new music during Spring 2025.
