If selected you'll receive developmental feedback on songwriting, production, genre direction, etc from industry professionals and audience
TuneTok: Developmental Listening & Feedback Session
TuneTok is a Music Alliance listening workshop designed for producers, songwriters, and artists who want early-stage, developmental feedback on their music.
This session is focused on songs that are still evolving, not yet release-ready. Submitted tracks are played for a live audience and guest industry professionals, followed by constructive feedback addressing songwriting, production, genre direction, authenticity, and overall creative intent.
TuneTok creates a supportive environment where creators can better understand how their music is perceived and what adjustments may help strengthen the song before final production or release decisions are made.
What TuneTok Focuses On:
- Songwriting structure and development
- Production choices and sonic direction
- Genre alignment and creative identity
- Authenticity and artistic intent
- Early feedback before finalizing a release
How TuneTok Differs From Drop Shop:
- TuneTok is developmental and exploratory
- Drop Shop focuses on songs that are release-ready or nearly finished
- TuneTok encourages experimentation and growth earlier in the creative process
Submission Guidelines:
- Submit one (1) song only
- File format: MP3 or WAV (hard copy only — no links)
- Submissions must be sent no earlier and no later than 48 hours before the event
- Songs must be emailed to the designated Music Alliance submission address
- You must be in attendance for your song to be played
- Multiple submissions will result in all songs being rejected
Due to time limitations, not all submissions may be played.
TuneTok is educational, feedback-driven, and community-focused, offering creators a chance to refine their music before moving toward final production or release.
