Gather among the cozy bean bags in the Smart’s lobby and be surrounded by Robert Earl Paige’s installation Give the Drummer Some! as you enjoy Destination Discovery Story Time in partnership with the Chicago Public Library. Start the day by creating a handmade bookmark to use with all of your favorite reads, then talk, sing, and listen along to Librarian Megan who will share stories about pattern, color, and nature during this relaxing afternoon of reading together. All ages are welcome to attend!

Schedule:

10 AM-11 AM / Bookmark making activity; drop in.

11 AM-12 PM / Story Time with Librarian Megan from Chicago Public Library.


While this program is free & walk-ins are welcome, we do ask that families register in advance to help the Smart team best prepare for the day.
