About this event

  • 3 hours

Join Tualatin Riverkeepers as we launch from West Linn’s Willamette Park at the confluence of the Willamette and Tualatin Rivers for a round trip tour of the “The Narrows”, one of the most beautiful sections of the lower Willamette River. Paddle upstream along pristine shoreline to this wonderful area of cliffs, rocky islands, narrow channels, trees, and river currents at the point where our two rivers meet. Please note that this will be a more rigorous paddle than some of our other trips, and we may experience some headwinds.

We'll meet at Willamette Park Boat Launch at 9:00AM. Our trips may be cancelled due to severe weather (lightning, flooding, ice etc.), but will often take place in the rain. Wear clothes and shoes you don't mind getting wet, and leave as many valuables at home as possible. We also recommend reviewing the General Paddle Trip Information sheet before the paddle trip. REVIEW IT HERE.

And don't forget! Tualatin Riverkeepers Members receive a 20% discount on Guided Paddle Trips! Send an email to mark@tualatinriverkeepers.org for information about applying discount and promotional codes, and visit www.tualatinriverkeepers.org/get-involved for more information on how to become a member if you're not already.

P lease note: this is Willamette Park in West Linn, NOT Portland!
