About this event

I'll lead you in a 20-25 minute or so meditation to quiet your mind, relax your body and hopefully give you a spiritual experience for a peaceful, wonderful day.

We'll start with an opening circle where everyone (myself included) will check in to share how they’re feeling and to set an intention for the day.

Once we go around to everyone, I'll go right into the meditation, after which there'll be a few minutes to move your body and come back into your surroundings.

Next, the closing circle will give you the chance to re-check in, share what it was like, and ask any questions you may have. Sharing in the opening and closing circles is completely up to you. If we end early, there may be some time to chat amongst your fellow meditators.

Stuff to bring to the online experience: a comfy chair or meditation cushion (if you like sitting meditation), yoga mat, pillows, blanket (if you prefer laying down meditation), water (or other beverage if you like), and your meditating self.

I ask that you arrive by 8:55 am so that you can get comfortable. If you're running behind, please please send me a DM here. I also ask that you stay through the closing circle in order to have the complete meditation experience.

Thank you so much.

I look forward to your presence. Namaste, TS

Frequently asked questions

Is it okay if I'm new to meditation?

Absolutely. Everyone is welcome here, beginners to people who have been meditating for many years.

Since I will be a part of a group of people, do you have rules about confidentiality?

In the opening/closing circle I ask everyone to raise their hand if they agree to keep all that is shared confidential. It is perhaps the key element of my meditation group. If you want to share about your experience, great. If not, that's okay too. My hope is that you feel safe here.

What do I need to bring to the meditation?

First, bring you. If you have a blanket, pillow, meditation cushion, etc., have that those to be as comfy as possible. I also suggest wearing loose clothes (sweats and t-shirt for example). If you wear glasses, I recommend taking them off, as well as your shoes, all so you are cozy the whole time.
