Mayfield Curling Club (MCC)is an active curling club with dedicated curling ice in the suburbs of Cleveland. Established in 1962, MCC is located in Warrensville Heights.Our mission is to teach, develop, promote and encourage the Olympic sport of Curling; to encourage member participation in the sport of curling and social activities; to provide a harmonious environment for all members; and to develop youth and adult programs that lead to national and international competition.

Were you inspired by the Olympics or have you always been curious about curling? Now is your chance to learn how to curl! Join us at one of our Try Curling events!---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Get a one time "crash-course-bucket-list" experience. Learn the basics of delivery, sweeping, strategy, and play a mini game!The cost to attend one of our Try Curling events is $70/person (for two hours) and must be paid at registration.Note: Try Curling is for new curlers age 14+. This is to avoid tracking anything on the ice. Do not bring EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) soled shoes, as they do not provide much traction on the ice. EVA soled shoes are generally all white and do not have a separate tread from the midsole, feel smooth and foamy to the touch, and do not feel like rubber soles. Curling attire should be comfortable and practical for the sport. Suggested attire includes pants you are comfortable performing a lunge in and turtlenecks, fleeces, vests, jackets, hats, and gloves. We suggest that you dress in layers so that you can remove one or more layers as you warm up. The temperature on the ice is usually around 40 degrees.Club step-on sliders, brooms, and stabilizers are available for use.
