The much anticipated Trusts Bill was introduced to parliament on 1 August 2017 and is currently on its first reading. Once the bill receives Royal Asset there will be an 18-month transition period before the new rules apply to existing family trusts. It is therefore timely to review the proposed trust bill and how it will impact new and existing trusts.
This event is for you if you’re asking yourself:
• Do I need a trust? • How will the proposed trust legislation affect me? • What are the pros and cons of having a trust?
Registration to the event starts at 5.30pm with drinks, nibbles and networking. The event will kick off at 6pm and finish at 7.30pm.
