<H2 CLASS="_1mf _1mj">The purpose of this day-long intensive is to help us remember how to trust ourselves, our hunger, and our desire in a world that asks us to make it smaller. </H2>

As a result of this intensive you will: 
- Have a sense of your internal "yes" and "no". 
- Be able to discern where messages that lead to self-abandonment come from so they are more easily recognized instead of blinding obeyed. 
- Be able to use pleasure and desire as an ally in living a life that feels satisfying. 
- Be connected to a community of women stepping deeper into this changing paradigm of trusting our felt experience fully and whole-heartedly. 
- Remember that your hunger and desire has a vital place in the unfolding of your life and highest destiny.

True Hunger is designed to guide us towards re-establishing trust in our inner wisdom by learning how to listen and respond to what our bodies, minds, hearts, and souls are longing for us to hear.
In a rapidly changing world, we are being asked to remember how to live our lives from a place of truth, wisdom, hunger, and soul desire rather than blind obedience.

We are well trained to trust others’ opinions or feelings over our own. This may look like trusting the newest health fad, or a friend, or a person in authority over our own intuition… This may look like trusting the label of “healthy” over what our body is hungry for…This may look like continuing relationships, jobs, or patterns that no longer feed or nourish us due to thinking it’s the responsible or practical thing to do…

The intensive is based on the following principles and practices:  - Feminine hunger is misunderstood and pathologized in our culture - Thus, physical and sexual hunger becomes something to curb, fix, and restrain - The effect of this is that our deeper hungers for connection, spiritual fulfillment, etc. are also dulled/restrained - Using depth psychology and shamanic rituals we will explore the origins of this internalized oppression - We will use ceremony and ritual to restore inner resources and self-trust  - We will use dance as an exploration of pleasure and desire as portals to deeper wisdom and knowing This intensive uses the medicine of the 4 directions (South, West, North, East), ceremony, and ritual to explore how, when, and why we absorbed messaging from our environments that no longer serve us. We will explore when we knew having a body mattered and somehow linked us to our worth and value… when we realized our food choices somehow had meaning that tied to morality… We will explore how to re-write these narratives and step into trusting our hunger, desire, and bodies from the inside out.

We will practice taking our eyes back– we will step into seeing the world from the inside out versus from the outside in which happens after generations of objectification. This practice in and of itself is revolutionary.
